Vincent Moita focuses his practice on land use, real estate development, and litigation. He advises clients on zoning, entitlements, and project approvals, as well as representing clients in a range of real estate-related disputes.
Prior to co-founding Moita & Moita LLP, Vincent was an analyst at ACORE Capital, where he underwrote and helped originate over $1.2 billion in commercial bridge loans for construction and redevelopment projects nationwide, spanning all major asset classes. His diverse experience includes internships and clerkships with the U.S. Department of Justice’s Office of the U.S. Trustee, Hovde Properties, Tidewater Capital, Reuben, Junius & Rose LLP, and the Contra Costa County District Attorney’s Office.
Vincent earned his J.D. from UC Hastings College of the Law and his M.B.A. with a specialization in real estate from the University of Wisconsin–Madison School of Business. He received his B.A. in Business Economics and Entrepreneurship from Brown University, where he was a four-year member of the Division I Varsity Wrestling Team.
He is admitted to practice law in California and holds a California Real Estate Broker License.

Joseph Moita’s practice centers on real estate transactions, trusts and estates, tax planning, and general corporate law. He advises clients on complex real estate financings, business succession strategies, and tax-efficient structures for both individual and institutional clients.
Before attending business school, Joseph was a real estate attorney at Gibson, Dunn & Crutcher LLP in New York, where he represented investment banks and private equity firms in the negotiation and execution of commercial real estate financings totaling more than $2.8 billion across all major asset classes. His practice also included advising on multifamily acquisitions, as well as office and life sciences leasing.
Joseph earned his J.D., summa cum laude, from the University of Pennsylvania Law School, and his M.B.A. with a specialization in real estate from the UCLA Anderson School of Management. He holds a B.A. in Financial Economics, with a minor in Computer Science, from Columbia University, where he competed on the Division I Varsity Wrestling Team for four years.
He is admitted to practice law in California and New York.
